Ok, so technically yesterday was the first week of my writing series. But I thought I’d leave my week in review post until day 8 as it feels like it makes more sense to review the week once it’s complete.
So what have I learnt? Quite a lot as it goes. I was expecting that I’d write a post reviewing my day, hence originally stating I was going to have this screen open all day. But, I’ve found myself having the screen open in the morning while looking at my planned work for the day, and then a subject clicks in my mind and I write whatever I want based on that, and don’t tend to go off subject too much, which has genuinely surprised me.
I’ve also found that it’s not taking me long to write the posts. Now, that might be obvious if you’ve read the posts (please let me know in the comments below) but I’ve probably spent no more than 15 minutes on each one, once I get going, which includes adding some tags, setting the category and also scheduling the post.
Those that have paid attention to the blog as a whole as well, may have noticed that I made a very small change this week, in that I added this series as a drop down in the “My Blogging Journey” section, which has given me the idea that may try this as a regular feature. So moving forward I may set myself a “30 days of” challenge. Suggestions are more than welcome below.
Hopefully you’ve all had a great week and aren’t melting too much in the 30°c+ heat that we’re having at the moment, and I’ll catch you all tomorrow.

I’m not really sure. I tend to have a few ideas throughout the day and make a list of the ideas whenever they come to me, then because I’ve often got the new post screen open, I’ll start writing as soon as the idea pops in to my head and it just flows from there. Although I often struggle with ending it as it sometimes feels to abrupt
